How To Be Happy With Your Life (Part 1)
Life moves quickly, and sometimes, when negative things pile up, it can be easy to lose sight of the things that make you and your life a success. There are several ways that you can enhance your happiness with your life. You can alter your focus and improve your attitude.
PRACTICE GRATITUDE: It can be easy to forget all that you have if you are thinking about where you would rather be. Practicing gratitude can hep you to change your focus and acknowledge all of the good things in your life, which will enhance your positive feelings about your life. Try making a list of everything you are grateful for. Start by writing down five things that you feel grateful for and keep adding five more things to the list every day. You can add basic things to your list like a roof over your head, clothes on your back, and food to eat. Then, move onto more specific things that happen during your day, such as enjoying a good cup of tea, talking to an old friend, or watching a beautiful sunset. You can also review the whole list when you are feeling down about your life to remind yourself of everything that you feel grateful for. Source: wikiHow

What a great tip! I used to keep a small notebook for this actually, but stopped at some point. You've reminded me to re start my practise!

I am good at this. We often have celebrations at home. So often that my wife and I skipped the celebration of our wedding anniversary this year because we though we have enough to celebrate even without it. 🙂
Best regards, Niklas 🎈
Good tip! My mum actually recommended me to do this a few years ago when she saw that I was struggling. I still have the notebook I wrote in today, although I can't say much for past me's handwriting, haha.
Thanks everyone for sharing your personal experiences. At a point in my life, after my parents passed away, I struggled moving on . But one day, I was fortunate to hear a teaching on gratitude then I realized incorporating more gratitude into my daily life was necessary and simple, and one of the most accessible tools for improving the quality of my life.
My practice is to give thanks during my drive to to work. I am alone in my car and I like to thank God for people and experiences and blessings in my life on my way to work.
Happy creating!
